Network Operations Center (NOC) is the state-of-art technical facility that house servers and network equipment that will ensure stable and reliable services for University Enterprise Systems. It’s a centralized management center i.e. capable of identifying, notifying, and repairing problems when they occur and projecting when and where they may occur.

NOC Services includes the Enterprise Monitoring and Enterprise Backup services i.e. provided via the facility, secure hosting and management of Enterprise Technology Services such as Email, Website Services, Enterprise Network Firewalls, Student and Financial Systems. Many University Departments leverages the NOCs enterprise calibre server hosting services for applications that need high level of availability and security.

NOC is staffed 24/7 and systems are monitored for problems. Enterprise Monitoring and Enterprise Backup services are provided via facility. NOC hosts the Center for Research Computing’s high-performance computing cluster. This helps to facilitate computational based research across University as well as several departmental high-performance computing cluster. NOC engineers provides support for the research network and server infrastructure. NOC hosts all the websites in the University’s Enterprise Website It has unnecessary power sources along with uninterruptable power supplies and backup generators to prevent widespread system failure due to electrical outages. Infrastructure and provides managed server hosting for University departments. NOC provides Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliant environment to researchers working on projects that need special handling of sensitive data.
